Wind Turbines of Fenner

Driving in open countryside Where weeds reclaim the farms, I encounter sway-backed barns, Broken-down machinery, And blue roof-tarps.
Suddenly in view appear The stately wind turbines of Fenner. They stand so tall and elegant, Well-spaced on elevated land. Distant ones touch the wooded horizon, Slowly paddling trees with three white blades.
Up close, I can hear their breathy sound As each blade passes their monumental base. Now so relevant to rescue us From civilization’s excess.

Many thanks to the Town of Fenner Highway crew for keeping our grounds looking fantastic all summer! You're the best! And a special shout out to Mary Bartlett and Landis, Scott and Phineas Colby for painting our central kiosks! Volunteers are the backbone of our grassroots organization!
