Hello Everyone! Wow, it’s been almost 5 months that we’ve posted on this page, but A Glo J’s Travel is alive and well. I am a small time independent agent, but have learned so much with certifications from several cruise lines and land vendors and have unlimited resources to cover worldwide travel.

Over the past few months, we’ve been busy training with many of our different travel partners, booking groups and getting them ready to travel and getting ready for my very first transatlantic sailing out of London.

I just received the photo below from a group of travelers that just left RDU headed to Miami for a cruise on the Carnival Horizon. I’m wishing them a great flight and a cruise that will bring them much happiness and relaxation. Happy Sailing Y’all!

We cruised during COVID…we wore our masks when we needed to…our first week back and two COVID tests since returning and we are still negative. So thankful that we got to experience a new ship for us and that we returned safely.

What a great week it was!

Waves in the Atlantic Ocean yesterday delayed our arrival into Baltimore this morning, but they calmed before we docked around lunchtime. Two more hours on 85 South and we will be home.

Ready to book a great vacation, call me and I’ll share with you what a cruise can offer at a price that’s affordable.

A travel tip…DON’T BE LATE!

I just watched a couple late to the Port in Freeport and the Ship left them there. Everyone was to be on board at 1:00, we waited until 1:30. They arrived at 1:38, but because they pulled the gangway at 1:30 and was preparing to sail away, they were left. My heart aches for them.

79 degrees and we just arrived at a private beach at Blue Lagoon Beach….beautiful day!

You ask if cruising is safe in 2022? The Captain announced before we left the ship that he was proud of everyone on board for following the safety protocols in place as there have been no incidents of any type. Everyone I’ve seen have their masks on when inside and to be honest, in my opinion, it hasn’t been bad at all. Still lots of great conversations and we’ve met some great people. We are cruising again in March for Carnival’s 50 Anniversary and because they will celebrate with some of the old time favorites, we are counting down until that cruise.

I’m the meantime, I am going to enjoy this beach day and the next few days on this one.
