We’ve been out on the water scalloping, and we’re happy to report that we’ve been doing well! The Gulf has been beautiful, the water has been clear, and we’ve been bringing home some nice catches.

On July 3 from 9 AM to 3 PM, Cedar Key Light Station on Seahorse Key will be open for a FREE public event!

Just offshore from Cedar Key, Seahorse Key is home to coastal history, native wildlife, marine research, and Gulf views we never get tired of. Visitors can hike to the lighthouse, explore the island, and learn from UF IFAS Nature Coast Biological Station staff!
