This is the Preview Center.

It’s the last work by Charles Moore, one of America’s great architects. His partner Arthur Andersson finished it after he passed. Brick facade, metal roof, built to feel like an old American working building. Look up. That stair wrapping the tower? It’s not for walking. It exists to throw shifting shadows across the building as the sun moves. A tower like this is used to mark a new Florida town from a distance. Have you seen it?

After some time with its lights dimmed, the Celebration Theaters lights are back on.

The historic space is now home to Celebration Athletic Club, with everything from boxing and MMA to kickboxing, HYROX-style training, yoga + programs for kids and adults.

We LOVE seeing a piece of Celebration history preserved in a new and unique way. If you haven’t been inside the old theater in years, this is your sign to stop by and see what they’ve done with the space.

Here’s why people in Celebration can’t get enough of this restaurant.

Columbia Restaurant has been on Front Street since 1997. The original Columbia opened in Tampa’s Ybor City back in 1905.

You have to try the 1905 Salad. It’s their signature dish, made fresh at your table, and people come from all over just for it. Their Cuban bread is also a must-try. If you’re in Celebration and haven’t been yet, you should stop what you’re doing and visit.

Columbia Restaurant is at 649 Front Street. Keep this spot in mind for your next day in town!

Are we still dreaming or...

The town of Celebration is a real community designed by Walt Disney. This year marks a special moment for the town, 30 years of tradition, community and memories.

If you’ve never experienced it for yourself, the rest of the year is a good excuse. Here are some upcoming events we would recommend attending.

- Health and Wellness Expo, Saturday September 19 at Lakeside Park. Free to attend and will have various wellness activations and demonstrations from the fitness clubs in town.
- Rocktoberfest, October 16 and 17. The best way to experience fall in Florida with our famous fall leaves drop.
- Founders Day with Pop 2000 Tour, on November 7, celebrating 30 years with some of our favorite band members and artists from the 90s and 2000s
- Now Snowing is local favorite that turns our downtown into a winter wonderland. It starts on November 28 and runs until December 31st.

Everything suddenly feels just right when you’re enjoying dinner at Reggiano’s. This is one of our new favorite ways to escape the day, and it feels just like you’re on an Italian vacation. Meet Julie, owner of So Petites 🤍 Handmade Celebration FL one of the local vendors you can discover at the Celebration Farmer’s Market

Julie and her family moved from France and are now Celebration locals who’ve made this small but special town home for their family and two kids.

Julie crafts handmade keychains, Apple Watch bands, patterned essentials bags and so much more. She sources her fabrics all the way from London and cares deeply about every interaction she has with her customers.

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining includes three spots in Celebration this year. Consider this your excuse to skip dinner at home and come to Celebration instead.

1. Head to Reggiano’s for a comforting yet elevated dining experience with some of your favorite classic Italian recipes and even some new spins on your favorites.

2. Head to Alma Argentinian for authentic Argentinian flavors, no fluff just the good stuff.

3. Head to Lakeside Kitchen & Bar for dinner with a lakeside view in one of the most iconic hotels in town.

And not only do you deserve to take yourself to dinner, but you’re also eating for a cause. This year’s main beneficiary is OCA, which stands for Opportunity, Community, Ability, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and other developmental differences and their families.
