I occasionally get asked, “what’s there to do on a Disney cruise ship?” We love to play trivia (we won 3x on this cruise!), meet characters, do the drawings and crafts, and visit the spa/Rainforest Room or one of the adults-only bars while the girls visit the kids club. The dining on Disney cruises are exceptional, from rotational fine dining to quick-service meals at the Cabanas and pool deck; you can even order a Mickey bar or room service for free! I’m a big nerd for the photo package, so I make my family take nightly pictures with me by the back-drops! 😂 There is plenty to do for anyone in the family, and all daily activities can be found in the Disney Cruise app during your sailing.

The Ridgetop Adventure excursion at Catalina Island was probably one of the best excursions we’ve ever done! We went off-roading in a Hummer with great views, music, and tour guide. We laughed the entire time during the ride; the girls said it was like they were riding on Dinosaur or Indiana Jones.

We also visited La Bufadora in Ensenada. The views were great, and it was a cool place to see.

We lucked out with weather this trip; it was a gorgeous week!

I ALWAYS recommend flying in a few days early before a cruise. We decided to spend 2 nights/1 day at Disneyland where we stayed at the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel. It was beautiful! We then drove to San Diego and explored the zoo, La Jolla Cove and beach area, and Sunset Cliffs. The night before the cruise, we stayed at the Grand Manchester Hyatt resort which was a 15 minute walk to the port. It was a great (and quick!) weekend before we boarded our ship on Monday morning!

My family and I returned from our Spring Break cruise on the Disney Wonder! It was my husband’s and my 5th Disney cruise and 4th ship (we’ve also sailed on the Magic, Wish, and Fantasy). This 4-night Baja Cruise from San Diego took us to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. We love cruising because it’s a great way to explore new places all in one trip!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been traveling or booking vacations! My last trip was last month to Disneyland where I ran the Halloween Half Marathon Weekend! I completed all 3 races - 5K, 10K, and half marathon. I LOVE Halloween and all things Mickey pumpkins, so this was a great way to kick off spooky season! 🎃

Labor Day in my mind is the unofficial end of summer, which means I can’t let the day pass without sharing my cute Virtual Summer Series medals! We started and ended Summer 2024 at the most magical place on Earth! We took a girls trip when school got out, then had our annual family summer vacay at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort! We always find new things to do each trip, and it’s always a fun time!
