🌎🏃♀️ Happy Global Running Day 🏃♀️🌎
Running has become so much more to me than just crossing finish lines or collecting medals. Every time I lace up my shoes, I’m reminded how incredibly blessed I am to have a body that allows me to run when so many people would give anything for that opportunity. It’s something I never want to take for granted.
Running races has taught me that I am capable of so much more than I ever imagined. Every early morning, every training run, every mile when I wanted to quit has shown me that if I truly set my mind to something, I can do hard things. That confidence has carried over into so many other areas of my life.
One of the greatest surprises of this journey has been the friendships. The running community is filled with some of the most encouraging, inspiring, and supportive people, and I’m so thankful for all the amazing friends this “crazy hobby” has brought into my life.
And of course, I’m beyond thankful for my husband — my biggest supporter, race partner, and the one who fully supports all of my crazy running addictions. From early race mornings to countless miles and Disney races, he’s always right there beside me. ❤️
Here’s to grateful miles, strong legs, amazing friendships, and continuing to prove to ourselves that we can do anything we set our minds to. 💪🏅
