✨ LET’S TALK ABOUT MY FAVORITE MODERATE RESORT! ✨

If you ask me which Disney Moderate Resort has my heart… it’s Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter! 💜💚💛

There is just something SO special about this resort! It feels like you’ve stepped right into New Orleans with beautiful cobblestone streets, wrought-iron balconies, gas lanterns, magnolia trees, Mardi Gras touches, and that laid-back Southern charm. 🎺🌿

And one of my favorite things about French Quarter? It’s smaller and more intimate! ❤️ You don’t feel like you’re walking forever just to get to your room, the pool, or dining. Everything feels close and easy, which I LOVE after a long day in the parks!

🎺 The atmosphere!
Jazz, Mardi Gras details, beautiful landscaping, and the Sassagoula River make this resort feel completely different from the other Disney Moderates.

🏊‍♀️ Doubloon Lagoon!
The Mardi Gras-themed pool features King Neptune and a fun sea-serpent waterslide! It’s such a fun place to cool off after a day in the parks. 🐊🌊

🚤 And don’t forget the boat!
You can take a scenic water taxi along the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs. It’s such a relaxing way to get there!

🎭 BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BEIGNETS!!! 🤤

You CANNOT stay at French Quarter—or even visit French Quarter—without stopping at S**t Cat’s Club Café for the famous Mickey-shaped beignets! 🐭🍩✨

These warm, powdered-sugar-covered treats are one of my absolute favorite Disney snacks! You can get them in a 3-pack or 6-pack, and there’s even a Mickey Beignet Sundae. 😍

And yes… I have absolutely been known to plan a Disney day around beignets. 😂

French Quarter is one of those resorts that I think people sometimes overlook, and I’m here to tell you…
