I know it isn't golf, but look at the guy in the middle of this bowling group picture. It is Riverside's own Dennis Catlett after he finished third at the United States Bowling Congress Senior Championships held recently in Las Vegas. The Riverside family congratulates Denny on his good bowling at the tournament!

SCRAMBLE WINNERS!

Central City - A four birdie stretch to open the second round gave Keith Gress and Mark Thomas just enough of a cushion to win Sunday’s 2-person scramble at Riverside Golf Club.

Gress and Thomas finished one stroke better than Matt and Marie Nicholas and the duo of Dave Hedglin and Ryan Fowler.

The father-son team of former Central City residents Joe and Adrian Montes took first flight honors by four shots over the team of Alan Sautter and Doug Soll. Jac Smith and Lance Boelts finished in a tie for third place with Spencer “Penny” Peterson and Pete Belcastro of Omaha. Peterson, a former Central City resident, got into golf at Riverside as a caddie and later became one of the most recognized players at the club.

18 holes, flighted, $60 per team. Mulligans available. Private carts welcome!

Riverside’s ONLY scheduled golf tournament for the year! Open to first 27 teams.

RIVERSIDE CLEAN UP DAY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 10! Any help we can get is appreciated. We have plenty of loose debris and small branches to be picked up - and a few REALLY BIG ones.

The more helping hands we can get, the less time it will take and the more we will all enjoy playing.

Bottled water and a few snacks will be provided, and a cup of coffee if it will help.

This is our only request to our members during the season. Bring a rake and some gloves and help clean up for a great upcoming season!
Membership is remaining at $175; cart storage is $75 for gas carts and $100 for electric. League begins the first Wednesday of May, with sign-up night on the last Wednesday of April. Dues can be paid any time to Tim Nicholas, Tom Palu or Stacey Sawyers.
