We are not saying it's our fitness classes but we are not not saying that 😁, but no matter what the cause we can say for sure that at 90 years old Miss Margaret is killing it! We had a great time celebrating her today. A big thanks to her fellow fitness friends for throwing her a much deserved celebration!

Yesterday we taught our last water safety swim lesson of the 2025/2026 school year! It was an amazing year and our biggest yet!

To put it in perspective:
* 15 second grade & self-contained classrooms participated.
* 60 lessons were taught.
* 280+ individual children participated.

This initiative provided vital water safety training and swim lessons that otherwise may not have been accessible to some of these children. We are incredibly proud of the positive impact this program is making in our community!

This endeavor is a true testament to collaboration, requiring the combined effort of Central Academy of the Arts, Six Mile Elementary School, Clemson Elementary School, School District of Pickens County and Central Clemson Recreation Center. All these partners joined forces to ensure that this program continues to thrive and succeed!

And of course, we could not have achieved any of this without our exceptional instructors and volunteers. They poured their experience and hearts into this program, and the positive impact was surely felt by every participant!

We are looking forward to another splashtastic year starting in the fall. And If you are interested in joining our volunteer group, we would love to hear from you!
