Good afternoon, Lake Haven family!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we’re planning a Community Potluck Celebration! We’d love to gather everyone together for food, laughter, and a little holiday cheer—but first, we’d like your input on the best day to hold it. Let’s find a time that fits everyone’s schedule between cooking, travels, and time with loved ones!

At the potluck, we’ll also have our Dirty Santa Gift drawing where we pick numbers of who we will having as our exchange. Who doesn't love a holiday mischief full of laughs and fun?!

Winter Weather Reminder:

The chilly air is moving in, so it’s time to get those RVs winter-ready!

Disconnect your water hose when leaving the park.

Remove or insulate water filters to prevent freezing.

Wrap both ends of your water hose and pressure regulators.

Keep lids over water grates.

If temps drop below freezing, let your faucets drip overnight.

Frozen water lines can cause big problems (and plumber visits aren’t cheap!), so please take precautions to help keep everything running smoothly. If precautions are not taken and we have to call a plumber, we will be billing the tenant.

🎃 Good Morning Lake Haven Family! 🍁

Fall is in the air, and this cool weather has us feeling festive! We’ve got some spicy fun ahead — our Lake Haven Chili Cookoff is coming up on October 25th! 🌶️🔥 So dust off those crockpots, perfect your secret recipes, and get ready to prove who’s got the best chili in the neighborhood!

On October 31st, as a community we would love to hand out candy to the little ones. So, if you know anyone with little ghouls, have them bring them out to get some goodies!

You all know Halloween is my absolute favorite time of year — and I am *loving* the creativity that’s popping up around the community! 👻🕸️ The decorations are looking amazing so far, and I can’t wait to see them when they’re all finished. If you haven’t started yet, don’t worry — there’s still time to jump in! 🎃 Judging will take place at the end of the month so grab your ghouls, start digging those “graves,” and let’s make Lake Haven the spookiest spot around!

Good morning, Lake Haven Family! Who’s still buzzing after that game last night? It was a blast catching the action and sharing plenty of laughs with all who joined in. Nights like these by the lake remind us just how special our Lake Haven crew really is—and we’re only getting started!

Keep an eye out this week—I’ll be making the rounds with our very first Lake Haven News flyers. This will be our way to keep everyone in the know about all the exciting changes, events, and happenings around the lake.

Get ready for a spook-tacular October! We’re launching a Halloween decorating contest for all campers—let your spot be as creepy, silly, or cute as your imagination allows. Judging is at the end of the month, so start decking out those campsites!

But wait—there’s more! On October 25th, fire up those crockpots and break out your secret chili recipes for our Lake Haven Chili Cookoff. Who will earn the ultimate bragging rights (and maybe a surprise prize) as this year’s chili champion? Get ready to stir, spice, and serve your best!
