Carnival of Care hosted by Healthy Franklin County returns this year on September 18th! 🎠🍿🌭

This FREE community events promotes mental health awareness, recovery, resilience and hope through family-friendly activities and local resources.

📍 Waynesboro Area YMCA
🕛 3:30PM - 7PM
🎟️ FREE

The event will feature:
• Dunk tank
• Balloon twisting
• Face painting
• Stilt walker
• Bouncy house
• Carnival games and activities hosted by local organizations

Free Food and Treats:
• Hot dogs
• Popcorn
• Cotton candy
• Snow cones

Participating organizations include healthcare providers, counseling agencies, recovery support organizations, prevention programs, advocacy groups, and other community partners working to strengthen mental wellness throughout Franklin County. ❤️ 23 seasons don’t happen without a lot of good people!

Last night was our annual staff training night as we get ready to open the farm for another fall season.

We may be a family dairy farm, but over the years our “farm family” has grown quite a bit. Some of the faces in this picture have been working our fall season with us for YEARS and YEARS – showing up weekend after weekend, welcoming families, answering questions, driving hayrides, making milkshakes, celebrating birthdays, and doing a hundred other things behind the scenes.

We’re incredibly lucky to have them.

In just a few days, we’ll open the door for our 23rd SEASON – and we’re pretty excited to do it alongside this crew. ❤️

It’s been 25 years since the tragic events that shook our nation. From that day forward we have never forgotten where we were, what we were doing and how we received the news.

Let’s take a moment to reflect and remember those we lost and honor the first responders who risked everything and the men and women who continue to fight for our freedom, for our nation. And may we never forget.
