The seemingly endless rural splendor here in the Laurel Highlands is only broken up by vast areas of wild nature, beautiful parks and quaint towns. But what could possibly be more emblematic of the rural experience than an historic, covered bridge? Well, should you find a fisherman wading the gurgling, sparkling trout waters beneath that covered bridge, you just may have experienced one of the quintessential moments to be found in the Great American rural landscape. Or perhaps, you will be the person beneath that bridge, angling for rising rainbow and golden trout. There’s an awful lot of these experiences to be found here.
