Kay Merrill has been recognized by Conde Nast and Travel & Leisure magazines as a Family Travel Specialist consecutively for the past 9 years. Kay feels that a family's most precious resource is the time they spend together and she will work closely with you to design an adventure that will connect the members of the family to one another and to the destination. High-end destination resorts, beach properties or cruises are ideal options for multi-generational families and groups. There are vacations where everyone just wants to hang out at the beach. However, many of today's parents are looking for ways to combine fun and enrichment in a family travel adventure. Kay can propose a range of programs, itineraries and prices to define your ultimate family adventure. Itineraries range from safaris in Africa to sailing the Mediterranean, estancias in Argentina to lodges in Bhutan. Many destinations lend themselves to specific activities such as biking, hiking, rafting, and climbing. They can also have cultural experiences such as chocolate tastings, cooking schools, kite making and elephant polo. Kay was bitten by wanderlust at an early age and has traveled extensively all over the world. She has a particular passion for Africa and has been many times; visiting almost every country on the Continent. Her frequent trips to South America have given her first hand knowledge of all its countries. She is especially fond of South East Asia and enjoys the many cultural experiences offered there. Due to Kay's travels over the years, and her contacts all over the world, she can often provide special services, amenities, and even confirm space or upgrades when they may not appear available online. Through these contacts, as well as Virtuoso and similar affiliations, Kay has associates throughout the world and a network of connections at most hotels and destinations to help with clients' requests.
