40 YEARS OF CARING FOR OUR NEIGHBORS! 🎉💙⚓️
Today marks an incredible milestone for our Partners the Chapin We Care Center as they celebrate 40 years of service to our community! Founded in 1986 on the simple belief that no neighbor should face hard times alone, We Care continues to be a cornerstone of hope and support across our area.
To honor this legacy and look toward the future, the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce was proud to host today's Ground Dedication on Chapin Road at Mountain Drive! This site will serve as the future home for an expanded facility designed to serve our growing community for the next 40 years and beyond.
Here is a glimpse at the profound impact they make in our community every single year:
- Over 1,000 neighbors served each month with food and necessities
- Approx. $2.5 million in food distributed, and over $200,000 provided in utility assistance last year alone
A capital campaign is currently in the works to make this vision a reality, with further details to come at a later time.
Congratulations to the entire We Care team, board members, volunteers, and supporters on 40 impactful years! We are thrilled to stand alongside We Care as they build for the future!
