Join us for Earth Day and help clean up the Chariton City Lakes on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

We had a great turn out last year and we are working on more areas of the trail on Lake Ellis and preparing for a new boat ramp at Lake Morris this upcoming year. All hands-on deck to help make the Chariton City Lakes a great place to enjoy all year long!

For more information about the event, please contact Laura Liegois, City Manager at 641-774-5991 or [email protected].

Due to the loss of three inches of ice the past few days of warmer temperatures and winds, we do not feel it safe to have the ice fishing tournament on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

We will be planning more events in the future for the Chariton City Lakes with fishing and other activities.
