Honeymoons are by far one of my favorite things to plan, and I love creating itineraries for couples that allow time for adventure, but also some relaxation.

This recent Switzerland honeymoon was full of breathtaking sights and fairytale-like accommodations and incorporated unique activities, like a mountain summit champagne and cheese picnic, boat cruise on Lake Maggiore, wine tastings in Ascona, chocolate making class, hiking with the St Bernard dogs, etc.🏔✨

So life has gotten a little crazy and I’m going back a few months here, but one of our featured destinations in our summer newsletter was the incredible island of Maui. 🌈 🌴

I could write a love letter to Hawaii and Maui all day long, and it’s no secret it’s my favorite place in the world, so I wanted to share some highlights and tips on planning that Maui vacation.

Hawaii requires way more planning and guidance than you think. Most excursions need to be well planned out and booked in advance. And there are some activities you don’t want to miss! Trust me when I tell you, every island and every resort is completely different.

When it comes to Maui, there are many different sides to the island and unless you know it well and have insider knowledge of the properties, then you may not choose the best location or best fit for you. I couldn’t think of any better way to kick off my Birthday month other than exploring the crown jewel of the Caribbean: Turks & Caicos. 🏝️✨

Thailand has been a big hit with clients this year, and it’s only going to blow up more once the next season of White Lotus airs. We saw this trend with Sicily and Maui, and with its filming location for next season being revealed at , people will soon be flocking over to Asia.

Btw- I totally called that one a year ago when I noticed the hotel was blocked out for months this Spring.

Thailand requires about 12-14+ days to do it right and provide adequate time to see/do everything, and even then, it will be a busy itinerary.

There’s more hopping around involved than you think, and the itinerary typically requires you to bookend the trip with Bangkok, or another hub like Singapore, if coming from the States. With the long journey there, you definitely want plenty of time to see it all and have some relaxation built in. Besides Bangkok, you don’t want to miss the culture of Northern Thailand and all the beautiful coastal areas and islands. You could occupy two weeks just island hopping alone.
