Finding the right hotel in Venice (and honestly in most European cities) is an art form—and if we’re being honest, online reviews can be totally deceiving. 📲✨

So many properties in Italy lean heavily into two extremes: either overwhelmingly grand with dated rooms and tired service, or overly modernized spots that lack any soul. Read a few glowing 5-star reviews online, and you might still end up in a cramped room with lackluster hospitality.

If there’s one theme that ties together all of my favorite trips, it’s finding those tucked-away island gems, incredible wildlife and nature, and of course, a great glass of wine. 🌿🏝️🍷.

When I planned our Australia trip, I knew that was exactly how I wanted to craft our itinerary. While it was a LOT of domestic flights to get where I wanted to go, I’m so happy we ended the trip at Kangaroo Island, which is located just south of Adelaide.

There’s really only one luxury accommodation on KI and boy, let me tell you, it’s a stunner. The Southern Ocean Lodge is a beautiful, award-winning eco-sanctuary tucked into the cliffside, where kangaroos, koalas, sea lions, and countless native birds are all part of the experience. Days are spent exploring dramatic coastal cliffs, spotting wildlife, tasting incredible local wines, and ending with unforgettable sunsets under some of the clearest night skies.

Kangaroo Island is often called Australia’s “Galápagos” thanks to its abundance of native wildlife, yet it still flies under the radar for many travelers. If you’re looking for a destination that combines luxury, sustainability, adventure, exceptional food and wine, and a true sense of place, this remote spot is one you’ll never forget.

It’s proof that sometimes the best luxury escapes are the ones hiding at the edge of the world. 🌎

Life’s greatest luxury has never been the places we’ve been—it’s the people we get to share them with. 🤍

14 years with this guy today! 💕

Everyone’s timeline and journey looks different. For a long time, we weren’t sure if kids were in our future. We were focused on school and building our careers, traveling the world, and simply enjoying life together.

When we finally felt ready to grow our family, it didn’t come easily. After years of infertility, we had accepted that IVF would likely be our next step. Then, in January, I got a positive pregnancy test—coincidentally the same week we received insurance approval for IVF. Funny how life has a way of surprising you when you least expect it.

Our journey to this little miracle wasn’t the easiest, and we may have started this chapter later than many, but I truly believe everything unfolded exactly as it was meant to. 2026 was always meant to be the year we became parents.

More than anything, this journey has reminded me that the greatest gifts in life are the people who stand beside you. I’m so grateful for the incredible friends who carried me through the hard days and for a husband who never stopped believing in us and lifted me up at my lowest points.

It’s those who love you at your worst and through your hardest seasons—not just your happiest ones—who are the real heroes in your story.

Ok, I’ll stop before I start crying... These dang hormones! 🤣

Spent the last week soaking up all the Bahamian blues at the new Baymahni Resort resort in Exuma. 💙

This laid-back island escape was exactly what I needed to relax and reset before baby boy arrives. Located on Stocking Island, it truly has the best setting and location in Exuma.

This resort and destination is all about ditching the fancy attire, kicking off your shoes, and slowing down. I have to say it has some of the most breathtaking, crystal clear water I’ve ever seen.

If you’re craving a low key Caribbean getaway with countless sandbars and pristine white sand beaches at your backdoor, Exuma is sure hard to beat.🏝️

A little reminder that a great getaway doesn’t always mean a long-haul flight or the flashiest resort on the map. Sometimes the best luxury escape is a quick domestic trip that feels easy, beautiful, and exactly what you needed.

We made a stop through Carmel-by-the-Sea back in the Spring and honestly… it was the perfect reset. Think storybook cottages, ocean views, art galleries, wine tasting rooms, and the kind of town where you want to wander with no agenda.

We stayed at Villa Mara Carmel, a quaint hotel with a B&B vibe, tucked into a quiet residential street a few blocks from the beach. It had a cozy coastal European-inspired design, with fireplaces, pretty natural textures, and the kind of place that feels more like someone’s Cali beach house than a hotel. The little touches and thoughtful hospitality are what really made our stay, like the evening cake hour, freshly baked cookies delivered to our room nightly, and the great conversation we had with the same staff every day.

And I have to say it: I’d absolutely choose this over staying in Big Sur. We still got the gorgeous coastal scenery during the day, but loved being able to walk into town for dinner, grab a glass of wine, browse the little shops, and not spend the evening driving winding cliffside roads back to a remote resort.

For anyone craving a West Coast getaway that feels relaxed, charming, and a little bit romantic, Carmel is hard to beat. And it’s also a great stopover and gateway to other amazing Cali spots! ✨🚘

One of the biggest challenges I hear from clients planning Europe trips is this:

“We want Europe… but we don’t want crowds, tourist traps, or feeling like we’re checking boxes.”

Babymoon bliss in Mexico. 🇲🇽🌴🌊

We established a dose of sunshine & ocean air, and eating fresh chips and guac 24/7 is really the cure to anything.

A huge thank you to for going above and beyond to pamper us on this Babymoon. I honestly was blown away by the level of service, and I have to admit it was a bit unexpected (which I love even more). The best service I’ve had by far at any Edition property. We truly never had to ask for a thing!

I loved the vibe of the resort. The beach in my opinion is the best in the Kanai resort community (and I’ve stayed at all the resorts).

It draws a younger, more stylish crowd with a livelier energy—not a party scene, but definitely more happening. Loved So’ol Beach Club—still dreaming about that incredible smash burger and lobster roll. And omg that guacamole was the best ever!🤤

Every single staff member was so warm and welcoming, and even the managers took the time to talk with us. We were showered with many extra surprises and had a complimentary photo session, which was beyond kind. It was a fantastic stay all around and a new favorite of mine in Kanai!

Perched on the cliffs in Laguna Beach, delivers that rare coastal magic—think sweeping ocean views, golden light, and a laid-back luxury vibe that feels strikingly similar to Hawaii, without leaving the mainland. It’s the kind of place where mornings start with coffee overlooking the Pacific and end with sunsets that don’t feel real.

What really sets it apart is the service—warm, intuitive, and consistently exceptional. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape or traveling with family, it effortlessly caters to both, with spacious accommodations, a stunning pool scene, and plenty of thoughtful touches for all ages.

For my East Coasters looking for an easy, elevated coastal escape, this is one I’ll recommend again and again. One of my favorite domestic stays to date—and absolutely worth the hype. 🌊✨
