I'm always trying to learn more about the Charleston Lowcountry in an effort to always grow as a guide, and add to my guests' visits! I recently attended a wonderful SC250Charleston event at Pompion Hill Chapel on the outskirts of Charleston. The chapel was built in the 1760s on the upper branch of the Cooper River, and rural areas such as this served as bastions of resistance in the American Revolution. Much of this resistance drove the British out of South Carolina! Celebrate America's 250th year with a Charms of Charleston Tour! You will be supporting a Native Charlestonian owned small business! I would love to share the area with you!

Lots of white dresses, white dinner jackets, roses ,tassels, and cords around town today. I haven't seen any Citadel dress uniforms yet. Congratulations to the graduates of The College of Charleston, and the Citadel.
