We are proud to announce Keontaโ€™ Ramsey as the new Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry.

A James Island native, Keonta has spent nearly a decade mentoring young people across our region and previously served on our Board of Directors, where she chaired the Development Committee. Her path to this role reflects a deep personal commitment to mentorship and a proven ability to build the partnerships and resources that sustain this work.

As she steps into this role, Keonta is focused on strengthening support for our Bigs and Littles, deepening collaboration across the Lowcountryโ€™s mentoring community, and growing our capacity to reach the young people waiting for a mentor.

โ€œNo child should be waiting for a mentor whoโ€™s ready and willing to show up for them.โ€ - Keontaโ€™ Ramsey

Weโ€™re grateful for her leadership and excited for this next chapter at BBBSL. Please join us in welcoming Keonta'!
