One of South Carolina’s most unexpected hidden gems is growing right in the middle of Lake City 🌿✨

Moore Farms Botanical Garden is a 65-acre private garden that feels like stepping into another world — filled with winding paths, native plants, reflection spaces, wetlands, historic garden design, and landscapes intentionally created to connect people with nature.

But what makes this place especially fascinating is the story behind it. Originally part of a working family farm, the property has been transformed over generations into a nationally recognized botanical garden dedicated to conservation, horticulture, and environmental education 🌱

Held at the stunning Swan Lake Iris Gardens, this long-running festival brings together blooming irises, live music, local food, art vendors, family activities, and one of the most beautiful outdoor settings in the Southeast 👣🌿

Fun fact: Swan Lake Iris Gardens is the only public park in the United States home to all eight species of swans, along with thousands of blooming Japanese irises each spring.
