Week three already and I’m loving sharing some of the resorts I find myself recommending over and over again for very different types of trips.

My clients just got back from the UK and one of their favorite parts of the entire trip was something they didn’t expect to love as much as they did… the sleeper train from Inverness to London.

They boarded in the evening in the Scottish Highlands and woke up right in the heart of London—no airport transfers, no security lines, no wasted travel day. Just dinner, a cabin, and a smooth overnight journey while the miles passed by in the background.

They said it was one of the most convenient and memorable travel experiences of the trip, especially for covering that longer distance without losing a full day to travel.

If you are planning a UK itinerary, this is one of those details that can really elevate the experience.

🚢 Alaska cruise season is still open for summer 2026 🚢

If Alaska has been on your list for this year, there are still some last-minute opportunities for July through early September sailings.

This is the busiest time of year in Alaska with incredible scenery, glacier views, and wildlife at their peak. While a lot of departures do sell out early, there are still select sailings where pricing can shift closer to departure as cruise lines look to fill remaining cabins. If you’re a little flexible, it can be a great way to still make it happen this summer.

🌴 Featured Resort Friday 🌴

Week two of Featured Resort Friday and this is one I could not leave off the list for families.

This week’s pick is Beaches Turks and Caicos 🌴

This resort is such an easy win for multi age families. Everything is in one place so there is no constant decision making and no stress about what to do next. Kids are fully entertained with activities and water fun while adults still get beautiful beach time and plenty of space to unwind.

It is the kind of trip where everyone is happy at the same time which is not always easy to pull off.

I’m officially in planning mode for Napa Valley trips this September and October.

Harvest season is such a great time to go. Everything feels alive in the vineyards, the scenery is incredible, and it’s just a really fun time to be there. It’s also one of the busiest stretches of the year, so early planning helps a lot with securing the best hotels and experiences.

If Napa is on your wish list, now is the time to start thinking about it ✨
