We would like to provide an update regarding the Mushroom House Tours following the City Council meeting on May 18th.
First and foremost, we sincerely thank everyone for the incredible support, encouragement, and advice throughout this process.
These extreme measures appeared motivated by a small group of homeowner's intent on eliminating tourism in Charlevoix. Our businesses rely heavily on tourism during the busy summer season to sustain year-round operations. Tourism is not just a seasonal boost; it plays a vital role in supporting local jobs, businesses, and the overall vitality of our community.
We are dedicated to advocating for a fair environment where all small businesses have the opportunity to thrive without unnecessary obstacles.
We welcome all constructive dialogue, and encourage residents to reach out with questions, concerns, or advice-or if you would simply like to learn more about how the tours operate. To show our appreciation, we invite anyone with a Charlevoix residence, full or part-time to enjoy a discount on tickets through June. Please stop by the Shroom Shack at 106 Park Ave to take advantage!
