They are the best parts of me, and the best parts of my day are when I am with them.

Even if I’m working when I’m home with them… there’s just something about knowing they are under the same roof, just around the corner in the other room.

Time with your children is so so short. Treasure each day!

Today, I pulled weeds from some ground cover and I thought:

I’m doing this now so it will be easier to take care of later.

So the weeds won’t take deeper root this winter.

So I won’t have so much to do next year.

So what about your life? What are you doing NOW to set you up for a better year next year?

Because the things you do today, the bad habits you remove, the housecleaning you do NOW… will only benefit you later.

A question I always ask those who have a coaching call with me is,

“Can you see that the cost of staying the same and doing nothing is FAR greater than the cost of actually making a change and starting a business?”

They ALWAYS say yes.

Because here’s the thing:

If your current situation is costing you time with your children…

…you don’t EVER get that back.

If your current situation is costing you your health…

…it’s hard to get that back without major changes… and sometimes, it’s too late to get that back, too.

If your current situation is costing you your relationships…

…those can be very hard to mend before it’s too late.

If your current situation is only giving you a 2% raise annually (if that)…

…you’re never going to get ahead of inflation.

So let me ask…

Because… priorities, right?

I have zero free time yet make my own mayonnaise. 🤪

It’s all about priorities. With family being so high on my value list, I’ll do whatever I can to protect them… which, given the state of the US food system lately, apparently means making my own mayo.

So make all the things. The bread, the mayo… and your own business. Because having control over what happens to you and your family is the ultimate freedom flex.
