From Roman arenas… to the lost legacy of the Great Library.
Our final chapter led us north—to the timeless coastal city of Alexandria, where Egypt meets the Mediterranean and history takes on a different rhythm.
We began at the Roman Amphitheater of Kom El Dikka, a remarkably preserved glimpse into ancient city life.
Once filled with performances, gatherings, and echoes of Roman entertainment, its stone seating and mosaic floors still whisper stories of a city alive with culture and spectacle.
From there, we descended into something far more mysterious…
The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a surreal underground world dating back to the 2nd century AD.
Here, Pharaonic, Greek, and Roman influences merge into one extraordinary burial complex—carved stairways, intricate tombs, and layered history buried deep beneath the city.
And then, we surfaced into the modern era.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina stands as a powerful tribute to the legendary Library of Alexandria—once the greatest center of knowledge in the ancient world.
Today, its striking architecture and vast halls of learning continue that legacy, bridging past and present in one breathtaking space.
To end the journey, we gathered by the water for a beautiful lunch overlooking the Mediterranean—sunlight, sea breeze, and the perfect moment to pause and reflect on everything we’ve experienced together.
And just like that… the journey closes.
Not just a trip through Egypt but a walk through time itself.
💛 Thank you, Egypt—you have been extraordinary.
From temples to tombs, rivers to seas, silence to celebration… every day has been unforgettable.
And to everyone who traveled with us, followed along, and shared this journey with us, thank you.
We’ll be back.
