Well that was quick reversal of a decision if we ever had one.....

The reversal came after discussions with the White House and TSA, an official said. DHS will still suspend Global Entry program as the partial shutdown continues.

🌸 TRAVEL UPDATE: TSA IS NOT SUSPENDED — BUT PRECHECK IS PAUSED

There’s been a lot of confusion online, so here’s the real update for travelers:

✈️ TSA is not suspended.
Airports are still operating and standard security lines are open nationwide.

⏸️ However, TSA PreCheck and Global Entry are temporarily paused due to the ongoing partial DHS shutdown. This means expedited screening lanes may not be available until funding is restored.

💡 If you’re traveling soon:
- Arrive earlier than usual
- Expect longer lines at security
- Keep your ID and boarding pass ready
- Pack your patience — this is temporary
