Big news for Chattahoochee Hills!

We’re proud to share that Chattahoochee Hills has been designated a Bird City Georgia community—only the second city in the state to earn this recognition.

This designation highlights our commitment to conservation, habitat protection, environmental education, and thoughtful growth—from our 70/30 conservation land use framework and dark skies ordinance to park investments and outdoor learning opportunities for families and students.

Thank you to our partners and community members who help make Chattahoochee Hills a place where birds and people thrive.

We’re excited to share that the Chattahoochee Hills Convention & Visitors Bureau is moving forward in selecting a public relations partner to help tell our story.

With strong interest from experienced destination PR firms, we’ve completed the pre-bid Q&A phase and look forward to reviewing proposals in the coming weeks. This initiative is focused on building a thoughtful, conservation-forward tourism narrative that reflects who we are — and where we’re going.

More updates to come as we take this next step in strengthening Chattahoochee Hills as a distinctive, experiential destination.
