Disney Cruise Line Updates Stateroom Door Decorating Policy - Effective June 3, 2026 🚪

Your stateroom door and fish extender are still fair game, nothing changes there. The new addition is that decorations MAY NOT be placed anywhere beyond your door itself. Corridor walls and ceilings are now off limits effective June 3, 2026.

“Decorations should only be placed on doors and are not permitted on corridor walls or ceilings.”

To put it simply, on your door, yes. Anywhere else in the hallway, no.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Disney Imagineers just revealed a major refresh coming to Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom! 🏰 ✨

The updated version will honor Walt Disney’s original vision while bringing the attraction into new decades that today’s audiences can connect with. Guests will even get to see Walt Disney himself through Audio-Animatronics technology in a brand-new opening scene inspired by the 1964 World’s Fair. 🏰

The show’s acts will now take place in the 1960s, 1980s, New Year’s Eve 1999, and a futuristic finale featuring space travel and advanced technology. Fan-favorite song “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” will remain part of the experience.

Carousel of Progress will temporarily close on July 6, 2026, and is expected to reopen in 2027 with this exciting new update!
