Check out what's happening this weekend in Chautauqua & Lake Erie NY!

Although the Chautauqua Institution season has ended, the Amphitheater will host one more major concert in 2026 on Thursday when Indigo Girls take the stage!

Enjoy an overnight at the Athenaeum Hotel, dinner at Heirloom Restaurant and a full breakfast the next morning.

The Red, White and Blues Festival in Fredonia showcases the area’s local w**e industry, hence the "red" and "white,” along with various "blues" artists Friday and Saturday.

The Jamestown Dance Festival takes place Wednesday-Sunday, headlined by New York City-based companies Music From The Sole and Sun Kim Dance Theatre at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts on Friday.

Septemberfest at Merritt Estate Winery features craft and artisan vendors, live music, w**e, b**r, food and more, Saturday and Sunday.

Dunkirk’s Music on the Pier features Grungebox & Canada Rocks USA on Thursday night at 6 to wrap up the summer concert series. Shop and dine at the Dunkirk Boardwalk and Pier merchants, food trucks, and more.

This weekend marks a historic homecoming in Jamestown as 10,000 Maniacs celebrate their 45th anniversary. The band, who first performed on Labor Day weekend 1981, will host an arts festival culminating in a benefit concert on Saturday at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

The 28th annual Findley Lake Harvest Festival features live music, w**e tasting, a b**r tent, crafters, vendors and great deals at stores throughout town Friday-Sunday.
