CHEROKEE RAPIDS HOURS UPDATE!

As we head into the end of the season, here are our updated hours through August 31!

WEEKDAYS - August 18th-31st
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

WEEKENDS
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

IMPORTANT: On weekdays, 4:00 PM is the LAST time we will take anyone on the river. Please plan to arrive early enough to get checked in and ready to go. We will not be able to take additional floaters after 4:00 PM.

Cherokee Rapids is open today August 12th no kids under the age of 14 until the water goes down from the rain we received last night.

RIVER UPDATE- CHEROKEE RAPIDS

MONDAY JULY, 27

We will be closed today, the river still needs to drop some more. Back open Tuesday July, 28th and should be back to normal conditions. Again thank you for your patience and understanding, as the safety of our customers and staff always comes first. We look forward to seeing you on the river soon!

CHEROKEE RAPIDS UPDATE FOR-MONDAY, JULY 27

As of now, we do not know if we will be open on Monday. The river is still running very high, and we won’t know if conditions are safe until we check it first thing in the morning. The river level can change quite a bit overnight, so we’ll make the safest decision once we see how much it has gone down.

We will post an update as soon as we’ve assessed the river in the morning.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. The safety of our guests and staff always comes first. We appreciate your support and hope to see you on the river soon!

We’re keeping a close eye on river conditions and hope to reopen tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, if the river decides to calm down. Thank you for your understanding. We can’t wait to get everyone back on the river as soon as it is safe!
