We give the hidden lake lookout 10 stars. We have never stayed in a rental property like that. The decor and attention to detail was truly amazing. You all thought of everything that we needed for a beautiful fun filled getaway. We made memories that will last a lifetime. We still can’t get that view out of our minds. Stunning. We stayed at Hidden Lake Hideout for a summer weekend with my wife and 6-year old, plus our neighbors and their 3 children. Let's start out with the cabin itself - one word: AMAZING! The cabin was clearly designed to bring the outdoors IN. Each of the two master bedrooms along with the main Living Room had floor-to-ceiling glass windows. So even when sitting inside, it felt like you were engrained in nature. The details of the cabin were incredible......everything from a tiny toiletry kit (in case you forgot yours, to the stocked coffee station, and even a portable "Smores Kit" that could be taken down to the fire pit for immediate use (which we did!). The kids absolutely LOVED the spiral slide from the top deck, as well as the various swings, climbing wall, and electronic game table. They had a blast; needless to say, they didn't want to leave. We adults thoroughly enjoyed the sit-down arcade table to bring us back to the 1980s 🙂. Everything was top notch, from the design, decor, etc. And Susie was an incredible, responsive, and attentive host. You can't go wrong with a stay at Hidden Lake Hideout!
