Michigan bear tags have been released. Congratulations to anyone that was fortunate enough to draw a tag for this year. If you were hoping to draw and were unsuccessful, I have an excellent outfitter with very high success rates in Ontario with a few openings for this fall. If you are looking for a bear hunt, reach out to me and I will get you some details.

Just go back from another successful Ontario bear hunting trip. If anyone in interested in going, reach out to me. I have some openings for this fall. This camp has great cabins in a campground on a beautiful lake as well as a high success rate on bear harvest! Fishing boat usage is included, small general store and restaurant on the property in a very remote setting. They have everything you need right in camp to have a great time.

I was fortunate enough to harvest this mountain lion in January of 2025 in Colorado. He weighed it at roughly 160 . I just go him back from Lazy Eight Taxidermy and I am very happy with the work that he has done. When you have a trophy you want professionally done don't forget about Chad at Lazy8. It's that time of year again! If you ever want to hunt in the western states, I highly recommend building preference points. If you talk with any outfitter for Wyoming, Montana, Colorado or Utah the first thing they are going to ask is how many preference points you are holding. It will affect pricing and if you can draw a tag. Sometimes you can purchase an expensive land owner voucher but that seems harder and harder to come by. Don't wait for that conversation, build points now so when you have that conversation you can control your hunt and keep it on budget. I offer a free service to help you build and maintain preference points. If you want or need help please reach out to me.

Here are some pictures of Alex's hunt in Colorado. This was an affordable do it your self public land hunt that we went on, but he needed preference point to be eligible for the tag.
