"Mission Trips" was spoken over my business in 2022 and here we are...an answered prayer! 😭🙌🏾

Today, amazing members of Redeemed Tabernacle, Apostolic Inc. along with their Pastor Jermaine Hawkins and Lady Hawkins are headed to Monrovia, Liberia to serve, love on, and support the children of Bishop L.J.Barnes Mission School and I'm incredibly grateful they chose The Travelnista to assist with their mission!🤗

It's been a Blessed, Booked & Busy year! Thank you to everyone who booked or supported The Travelnista this year! Your support kept food on my table while I was unemployed at the top of the year. While unemployed God told me to rebrand and here we are 18 trips booked later and my BEST business year to date! Clients traveled to Cancun, Bonaire, Turks & Caicos, Paris, London, Amsterdam, and New York to name a few with DR as the top seller! I was also selected as the travel host agency for our 2024 Way of the Cross Church Convocation held in Mobile, AL. Each client was sent by word of mouth! The biggest flex goes to God! You CANNOT convince me that he☝️didn't do it!

Late Valentine's staycation at the stunning Watermark hotel in Tysons Corner. Room pictured is the King Jr Suite. This property offers 28 floors of luxury that includes complimentary breakfast, garage parking (addtl fee), fitness center, onsite restaurant and bar, lobby pool table, conference/meeting spaces, and a Wegmans on the lower ground level. 10 out of 10 The Travelnista highly recommends!!! 🔥😍

When you finally realize your God given purpose has been with you all along...it deserves an upgrade! ✨️

Ten years ago, "The Travelnista" was birthed to educate and help the African American community overcome the common fears of travel and exploring the world (helping some of y'all out of bo***ge 😆)! I think I've been pretty successful in that, and while the original mission still remains, I now know it's MY ministry. 🙌🏾

See we've limited the word "ministry" just to the church 💒(the four walls), forgetting that we're ALL called to make Disciples in AND outside of the church. While lavish hotels, yummy eats and sweet treats, tours and adventures over the years have been great, the Lord revealed that he's called me to the heart of his PEOPLE - simply loving on, encouraging, uplifting, praying and speaking life into his people while traveling his beautiful earth! So I reintroduce to you, "The Travelnista" - same STELLAR travel services and hospitality led with a God given focus! 😘

I've had countless wardrobe malfunctions while traveling but never have I pulled up at my hotel, text my family that I was safe, popped the trunk and.....😱😲 NO luggage! 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️

A quick dash to Walmart clearance rack with 10 mins before closing got me thru Friday night. Saturday morning - I was looking like a pack of Starburst! 😂 A mustard yellow shirt, purple leggings, pink socks and black boots...a mess! Forgot to snap a pic.

Grabbed this cute outfit at TJ Maxx just before I ran off to another AMAZING event "Issachar 2023", hosted by the lovely Apostle Yolanda Stith.

Lil Ol York, PA owes me nothing! 😅Comfortable hotel, lots of shopping centers and good food! I highly recommend District Thai (try the crab fried rice & Crispy Brussel sprouts) and Captain Krab ( featured - fried catfish & sweet potato fries with a side boil bag of veggies in Cajun butter spices). 😋

HAPPY BLESSED NEW YEAR!!! 🎉 Wishing abundant blessings and favor to everyone reading this post in 2023! 🙏🏾💜

I brought in the New Year with my cousin and friends with Crossover service at Kingdom Full Tabernacle Church in Connecticut! 1st time in CT and had an opportunity to stay at an EVEN hotel! Its apart of the IHG properties - clean, affordable, made to order breakfast with healthy options and great for active travelers that like to stay fit.

Here's a super quick video of the lobby and common areas. I was rushing to get checked out in time lol. 🤪 Unfortunately I didn't get pics of the rooms but they're setup with workout equipment! A weighted medicine ball, strength training bar with resistance bands and a yoga mat all in your room!
