Hey guys! We made it through Orlando airport security in like 10 minutes 😮 so I have some extra time and would like to share my experience at Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge.
First of all this is one of my favorite resorts on property. I visit here everytime I come to Walt Disney World. Not only is it beautiful, but it has an amazing breakfast buffet called Boma! Can’t recommend it enough!
As soon as we walked into our room we were greeted by a zebra outside of our window! Such a cool experience! You have a chance at seeing many different types of animals including giraffes, unfortunately the giraffe mama was feeling under the weather when we were there so her and her baby weren’t out.
The pool is beautiful and features a water slide that keeps the kids entertained for hours! Fun fact about Disney hotels is that they provide life jackets for the kiddos so no need to pack the arm floaties 😂
One downside to this hotel is the transportation that is included. You only have bus transportation to the parks and Disney springs and with this being a deluxe resort it kind of does suck. Hopefully there are future plans to get some other forms of transportation to this resort!
There are 3 table service restaurants here as well as a quick service. An arcade is on property. There are also many animal trails at this resort that you can explore! You need a full day to see the whole resort 😂
So, if you can splurge and go for this hotel on your Disney trip, I’d highly recommend it! OR if you want to stay here but don’t know if you can swing it for your whole trip. You can do a split stay with another resort and lessen that cost but still get that Animal Kingdom experience!
