Spend a fall day in Chester County with pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, farm games and plenty of family fun at Cotton Hills Farm – The Market. 🍂🚜

Fall Fun happens every Saturday through October 31, from 9 AM–7 PM. Admission is $12 per person, with ages 1 and under free. Pumpkins and U-Pick flowers are available for an additional cost.

On Saturday, October 3, that classic rodeo excitement returns to Blackstock for the HW Rodeo at Cadillac Ranch Arena!

Ready to take the conference outside? 🌿🛶

Chester County is excited to welcome the South Carolina Nature-Based Tourism Association to Great Falls for its 2026 Annual Conference, October 5–6!

SCNBTA brings together tourism professionals from across South Carolina who are passionate about nature-based tourism, outdoor recreation and the responsible use of our state’s natural resources.

And this year, they’ll be experiencing some of it right here in Chester County! Attendees will have opportunities to:
🛶 Paddle the Catawba River
🥾 Explore the Great Falls Rail Trail
🌳 Get a preview of Dearborn Island State Park
💡 Learn from tourism and industry leaders
🤝 Connect with tourism professionals from across the state

We’re proud to have Great Falls serve as the backdrop for this year’s conference and to have some of Chester County’s outdoor assets showcased to tourism professionals from around South Carolina.

Exciting things are ahead for Great Falls! 🌿

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to hear more about the master plan for a new South Carolina State Park being developed along the Catawba River in Chester County.

The plans offer an exciting look at how this incredible area could welcome visitors while showcasing the natural beauty that makes Great Falls so special.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re excited to watch this project take shape — and even more excited about what it will mean for outdoor recreation and tourism in Chester County!
