Our group's Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona is set to depart, commencing a culturally rich expedition that will unite travelers from Guyana and various US states from June 28 to July 6. As travelers embark on this transformative journey, they will explore new lands, forge enduring connections, and create unforgettable memories. The group's diverse composition, comprising experienced travelers and those embarking on their first cruise or European adventure, has generated considerable excitement. We are thrilled for them.

While we take pleasure in traveling with our groups, there are times when we cannot accompany them. Despite this, we will maintain communication with the group throughout their travels. We wish safe travels to our group embarking on the Allure of the Seas for a 7-night tour of the Mediterranean, specifically Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Florence, Rome, and Naples. Bon Voyage!

Guyana, a nation with less than a million inhabitants and numerous rivers, boasts an abundance of oil and has recently gained recognition for its exceptional food sustainability. A study published in Nature Food highlighted Guyana as the sole country among 186 analyzed that has achieved complete self-sufficiency in food production across seven key food groups, as reported in BBC Science Focus Magazine. This accomplishment signifies that Guyana is capable of producing sufficient food, encompassing meat, dairy, vegetables, fruits, legumes, fish, and carbohydrates, to sustain its entire population without reliance on imports. Any visitor to Guyana will undoubtedly recall the country's culinary delights.

2019 Mediterranean Cruise from August 19 to September 3

It was a memorable bucket list experience for the entire group. We began the cruise in Barcelona, Spain, where we spent 2 days at the beautiful H10 Arts Gallery hotel for a pre-cruise tour of Barcelona before embarkation day - August 22. The cruise took us to our first port of call - Valletta, Malta then we proceeded to Santorini, Athens and Mykonos in Greece. We also stopped in Rome, Florence and Pisa in Italy before we made our last port of call in Marseille, France and headed back to Barcelona for disembarkation. Of all the many ports of call, the majority of our group loved Barcelona, Santorini, Florence, Pisa and Marseille.
