A Little Mosque Etiquette for Travelers

For travelers who may not be familiar with Islamic customs, visiting a mosque is a wonderful opportunity to experience and appreciate another culture.

The dress guidelines for women are more extensive than those for men. While these customs may be different from what we are accustomed to, we are guests in their country and visitors to their places of worship. We will therefore respect their traditions and follow the appropriate dress and etiquette guidelines.

Respecting the culture is an important part of the travel experience.
We travel not only to see the world, but also to understand and respect other cultures.
