Croatia keeps landing on client wish lists, and honestly, this footage explains it better than we can.

More than a thousand islands along the Adriatic. Medieval walled towns like Dubrovnik and Korčula. Waterfalls stacked through the national parks, and an entire peninsula, Istria, devoted to truffles and w**e. Our favorite way to do it all is by sea, on a crewed yacht for the week, dropping anchor wherever looks best at lunchtime.

Advisor tip: June and September are the smart months, with warm swimming, open tables, and a fraction of the August crowds.

The hotel currently ranked #9 in the world isn't on a beach. It's deep in the Yucatán jungle.

Chablé Yucatán, a restored 19th-century hacienda outside Mérida, holds the #9 spot on the World's 50 Best Hotels list and was just named the Best Hotel in North America for the third year in a row.

The claim to fame is the spa, built around a natural cenote, one of the underground pools the Maya considered sacred. It was the first spa in the world designed that way.

Every casita comes with its own private pool and jungle views. Dinner is its own event too, with menus shaped by Jorge Vallejo of Mexico City's famed Quintonil and a tequila library so deep it earned a Guinness World Record.

Advisor tip: pair it with the ruins of Uxmal and a day in Mérida's colonial center. Mexico beyond the beach is one of our favorite trips to plan. Let's talk.

Yes, we know you're asking AI about your next trip. Honestly? Keep doing it.

AI is useful early on: gathering ideas, comparing regions, figuring out what kind of trip you're actually in the mood for, drafting the packing list. Bring us all of it. A client who arrives with a screenshot of ideas gives us a head start we love.

Here's where the handoff happens: AI hasn't slept in the rooms. It doesn't know the hotel changed hands last year, which room category is worth the jump, or that the famous restaurant is coasting. It can't see live availability, add upgrades and credits through our partnerships, or answer the phone when your connection cancels at midnight.

Dream with AI. Book with a human. Send us what you've got and we'll take it the rest of the way.

A question we hear from clients who have already done Tokyo and Kyoto: what does round two of Japan look like?

One of our favorite answers is Amanemu, Aman's hot spring resort on the Ise-Shima peninsula, a coastline of green coves and fishing villages a couple of hours southeast of Kyoto and Osaka. Every suite and villa has its own onsen bath fed by mineral-rich thermal springs, so you get Japan's beloved bathing ritual in complete privacy. No shared pools or second-guessing the etiquette.

It shines brightest on a return trip, slow and deeply Japanese in a way the big cities can't be. First-timers shouldn't rule it out either: tack three nights onto the end of a Tokyo and Kyoto route, and you'll fly home rested instead of running on fumes.

First visit or fifth, Japan always has more to give. Reach out, and we'll start planning.

Our most-requested new property this year isn't in Europe or the Maldives. It's on a clifftop in Costa Rica.

Nekajui opened last year on a clifftop in Peninsula Papagayo, and it already holds two Michelin Keys. Some villas are reached by a wooden suspension bridge across a ravine. A funicular glides down through the trees to the beach club. The spa alone covers 27,000 square feet in the canopy, and dinner at Puna, from Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz, is reason enough to visit.

Our favorite part: every stay comes with a personal host who handles everything over a simple text. Sunset table, surf lesson, a monkey sighting you want repeated tomorrow, one message.

Liberia's airport is about 40 minutes, away with nonstops from many U.S. cities, which makes this one of the easiest world-class resorts to reach from anywhere.

The Orient Express is now a ship. Not just any ship: the largest sailing yacht ever built.

Corinthian began sailing this summer, and the numbers barely capture it. Three masts rising 328 feet. Just 54 suites across 722 feet of yacht. Five restaurants overseen by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno, plus a 1930s-style speakeasy and a Parisian cabaret at sea.

The interiors reinterpret the golden age of ocean liners with contemporary French craftsmanship, and the itineraries are refreshingly flexible: voyages of one to four nights that combine without repeating a single port.

The Mediterranean season runs through October, then the yacht crosses to the Caribbean for winter. First seasons of ships like this become the ones people talk about for years.

Rail legend, reborn under sail. Message us for itineraries or to learn more.

Five places on Earth that don't feel like Earth. Consider this our favorite category of trip to plan.

Iceland: black sand beaches, steaming lava fields, and ice caves glowing blue from within.

Namibia: red dunes the height of skyscrapers in the world’s oldest desert.

Bolivia: the Salar de Uyuni, a salt flat that turns into a perfect mirror of the sky.

Antarctica: blue ice, emperor penguins, and silence you can hear.

Cappadocia: valleys of stone spires with hundreds of balloons rising at dawn.

No spacecraft required, just a good plan. Message us and pick your planet.

How do you choose among Maldives resorts that all promise blue water and overwater villas? Start with personality.

Joali is the memorable one. Where other resorts hang a few prints, Joali suspended a life-size manta ray in the trees and put a dining table inside it. Where others plant coral frames, Joali sank sculptures on the reef and let the coral move in. Even the butlers refuse to be ordinary here. The title is Jadugar, which translates to magician.

Beneath the character, the fundamentals are flawless: Forbes Five-Star four years running, two Michelin Keys, and a top-three finish in Travel + Leisure's world's best hotels this year.

Anyone can promise paradise. Personality is rarer. Reach out to start planning.

The Mediterranean has been mapped, cruised, and photographed within an inch of its life. Somehow, Malta still flies under the radar. Here's what to know before everyone else catches on.

Valletta is Europe's smallest capital, walkable end to end in twenty minutes, and its cathedral holds Caravaggio's largest painting, the only one he ever signed.

Mdina, the walled Silent City, clears out when the day-trippers leave. A single small palazzo hotel lets you sleep inside the walls.

Gozo is a 25-minute ferry away, with temples older than the pyramids and dive sites serious divers cross Europe for.

And the logistics are a gift. Everything is about thirty minutes from everything else, English is an official language, and Valletta's old palazzos are being restored into small, characterful hotels one by one.

Malta won't fly under the radar much longer. Message us and get there first.
