‼️ LOST FOSTER CAT

Foster cat Feldspar went missing from the 1300 block of W. Farewell Ave. He was last seen yesterday afternoon, but an open window had a screen pushed out this morning so we think he likely escaped.

Please share with your friends in Rogers Park area!

Anna was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care & Control a couple of months ago. She came in with two other dogs, Myrtle (rescued by another org) and Barney, who we also took in. From the get-go, this short stack was a volunteer favorite! She even attended a wedding and charmed the entire guest list. 💖

After a few weeks, her foster mom decided to make it official and Anna gets to stay forever! Big “thank you” to our friends at The Hansel Foundation for sponsoring Anna and allowing us to say ‘yes!’ to more amazing pitties from CACC!

Happy forever, Anna! 😇

A few weeks ago, our staff was leaving our Bucktown Adoption Center when they noticed some abandoned items left outside. It's not uncommon for there to be donations near our front door on days that we are closed (this was a Tuesday), so at first the team didn't think much of it.

But after a closer look, they realized there were two cats inside of a backpack. It was a hot day and the backpack had a plastic face that basically acted like a magnifying glass under the Summer sun. They cautiously opened the case, not sure if the cats would even be alive, but thankfully, they were. Besides being dehydrated and overheated, the cats were in okay shape.

Our staff took them to our Ellis Clinic where they got examined before going to a foster home. When Alyssa saw their story posted on our Foster page, she reached out wanting to help. The cats were nervous at first, but came out of their shell within a few days and by the end of the week they were purring beside her as she worked.

Alyssa recently made it official with Gonzo and Rizzo and we are so glad that they have a loving home. 💙
