Spartans program, I am excited to extend this opportunity to the Chicago area youth in order to enhance their athletic and agility skills in football and cheerleading. Spartans program is associated with The United Youth Football League(UFY) which is the largest renowned youth league for football and cheerleading in the United States. As a native of Chicago, I graduated from Percy L. Julian High S
chool on Chicago’s south side. This Chicago Public School education afforded me the opportunity to enroll at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana as a student-athlete. My hard work on the football field afforded me the opportunity to play 11 years in the National Football League. My philosophy is all children should be equipped with positive character building attributes such as honesty, loyalty, integrity, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, respect and leadership. Our program is designed to couple character building opportunities with hands on instruction that will promote social and athletic development for your child. Hyde Park Jr. Spartans will make every effort to ensure that every child with the desire to participate gets the opportunity to play or cheer, without regard to their prior experience or athletic ability. We are committed to instilling Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, and Leadership, in our young athletes. We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth and development thus enabling them to become active members of society. We will instill in our youth the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, and the reality of defeat!
