My favorite entrepreneur is Madame CJ Walker, and not just because we have the same birthday (December 23!). She exemplifies what it means to be an : finding a problem to a solution in your community and then serving your community! By creating, packaging and selling her hair care products from her own factory, Madame CJ was not only able to alleviate hair loss among African American women, but she was able to teach, train and provide jobs for others. She was a self made millionaire AND activist, laying the foundation for women like me to come after. She’s !
