Please help save this mural. It is the last mural left by my mentor the late Jose Guerrero who is one of the artists. Jose was the first person to give tours in Pilsen starting in 1980.

The 35th Ward and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events are seeking artists for an outdoor mural on the viaduct wall at 2910 N California Ave.

Ven a vernos! This weekend, as part of Open House Chicago, we are doing a brief "activation" at our first building, 1910 S. Wolcott. Come hang out for a minute in the garden, aunque esté lloviendo! The late Mitchell Caton and Calvin Jones’ 1981 painting recently was repainted. Another artist, unaware, began painting over it: “If he’d gone another 10 minutes, it could’ve been gone.”
