Having dinner at one of our favorite empanadas restaurants = 5411 Empanadas on Southport!

Some of our choices: Chorizo / Patatas Bravas / Cheese, Sweet Corn, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Malbec Beef.

Real Argentinian empanadas = baked, not fried.

Needed a little break from the Ravenswood Art Walk so walked over (2 minutes!) to Demo Brewing Company in Ravenswood.

She had Napa Valley Rosé and I had their Gute Etta-kette (Octoberfest Marzen) and Bait & Switch DDH NEIPA.

Love their Octoberfest beer!

She had the raspberry scone and I had the chocolate brownie.

The usual decaf Cappuccino and Double Espresso with honey.

Excellent coffee and pastries here as well!

She had a wine flight and I had a Potosi Brewing Company Cave Ale (Amber Ale).

She had the Southwest Street Corn Dip and I had the Hummus Plate.

Live music on the patio, wine flights, Potosi craft beer, and snacks on a nice, sunny day!

She is having her Decaf Cappuccino and I am having my Double Espresso with honey.

She had a chocolate chip scone and I had chocolate chip banana bread.

The coffee, scone, and banana bread were fantastic!

New favorite coffee spot!

Went to Ravina Bay overlooking Lake Delton and loved it!

Had a New Glarus Moon Man.

The Baconator and the Pulled Pork Sandwich were delicious!

Hanging out Brother Chimp Brewing in St. Charles!

Live music from Matthew Alfano was excellent.

From left: Schimpansenfest (Märzen), Myld Stallyns (collab with Wolfden an English Mild), Brother Brix Wit (collab with Broken Brix, Belgian Witbier), Brother Pucker (Raspberry - Blackberry Sour).

My favorite? The Brother Brix Wit / the Belgian Witbier.

Live music and craft beer = perfect!

Hanging out in Bridgeport tonight. We are at Off Hours Chicago - brewpub located in the historic Ramova Theater.

We are both having Southside Legend, a Hazy IPA.

He had poutine and wings.

I had vegan chili and most of the chips and salsa verde.

The music is chill - they have A Tribe Called Quest on heavy rotation!

Hanging out in St. Charles (West of downtown) Brother Chimp Brewing !

She had a Red Wine and said it was excellent!

My flight from left: Calamanasi Kölsch (Kölsch with Calamanasi fruit from the Philippines ), Bloom (table beer with Rose Hips & Hibi), Ludwig (Vienna Lager), and Tropical Chimp.

My favorite? The Tropical Chimp is excellent but my favorite is Calamanasi Kölsch because of the Calamanasi flavor!

Get over to Brother Chimp in St. Charles!
