Hanging out at our favorite cookie / bakery = eating cookies and a vegan muffin at Strugglebeardbakery in Hyde Park with my lovely wife!

She had her favorite: It's the same recipe as a CPS butter cookie.

I had the (vegan) banana walnut muffin.

Having the BEST dinner we have had in a while at Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen in Baraboo, WI with my beautiful wife!

She had a Moscato and a Rocks Piña Kolada. More on my flight in a minute.

She said their Quesabirria tacos were one of the best ever.

The Sweet corn & poblano soup? She said it was delicious.

Ok...the Bison Meatloaf was unbelievable! I didn't finish it because I ate one quesabirria. Wow.

My flight from bottom left: A Hat and Full Glam (French Saison), Good It Did (Munich Dunkel), Jimmy D's (Mexican l***r), House Tour (Czech Dark L***r), and Sarrington English IPA.

My favorite? The French saison. It's risky to brew a French saison and make a good brew. They pulled it off.

Get over here now for excellent craft b**r and a fantastic menu!

Avocado toast (excellent!) and Cappuccino for her.

Chocolate chip banana bread and Double Espresso with honey for me.

The only place in the Dells for brunch and coffee!

Drinking Octoberfest b**r and a Festbier at Goldfinger Brewing Company in Downers Grove!

They had food trucks, so first had Polska Kielbasa (Polish Sausage) and then we had coal fired pizzas.

She had a Margherita pizza and I had Sausage and Red Peppers.

Having dinner at one of our favorite empanadas restaurants = 5411 Empanadas on Southport!

Some of our choices: Chorizo / Patatas Bravas / Cheese, Sweet Corn, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Malbec Beef.

Real Argentinian empanadas = baked, not fried.

She had Napa Valley Rosé and I had their Gute Etta-kette (Octoberfest Marzen) and Bait & Switch DDH NEIPA.

Love their Octoberfest b**r!

Wanted try the other location, so here we are at Bella Goose Coffee !

She had the raspberry scone and I had the chocolate brownie.

The usual decaf Cappuccino and Double Espresso with honey.

Excellent coffee and pastries here as well!
