It’s not a vacation if I don’t have a spot to read 🤫📖

When it comes to a vacation that’s right for you, you need to include some you time! For me, that could be a lot of things, but a “must” will always be a space for some casual reading time in between all of the many plans. 🤓

I have accumulated some photos of spaces I have read books in on my vacations, and of course some of the books I have read while there. From accomplishing one of my lifetime goals of reading “It” (😞) to some pleasant surprise favorites like The Handmaids Tale, there’s nothing like the feeling of looking up from the pages to a beautiful view in a place that is meant to make you happy. 😌

If you’re like me, you are probably the type to get excited for a Getaway Vacation! There’s so much to explore and also so much time to relax with a vacation like that! From Sandals and Beaches to just dipping your toes in a new place with an open itinerary, there’s a lot to do on these vacations and also a lot of free space for you to do exactly what YOU want! That’s the All Inclusive you’re looking for.🍸

Now, let’s not forget how easy it is to relax aboard the Ships at Sea! When on your balcony, at the adults lounge, in the open deck spaces, Cruises are a wonderful place to relax! Besides, rocking and reading is an incredible formula to catch some MUCH needed 💤’s 😮‍💨! 🌊

Parks… Let’s be real, you won’t have a whole lot of time to read unless you squeeze in a day dedicated to a reset (Which I always recommend!) Don’t get me wrong, there are SO many other things to do at the Parks other than just roller coasters and, well, theme parking! Welcome to Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando! 👑

Are you in need of some relaxation while also getting your fix of the parks? Universal Orlando Resport makes it easy to navigate thrills and self care! 🥰

From the moment you walk up, there are sounds of frogs singing for you! Inside there is a gorgeous fountain, a perfectly secluded bar which takes up its own wing, there are multiple towers for you to stay in and the rooms are absolutely lovely! 💕

Splash in the sun at Typhoon Lagoon! 🌊

At one point a beautiful paradise, Placid Palms was a resort village near Mount Mayday! It all turned when a massive typhoon crashed and turned into the park we know and love today! 🤿

Disney has two lovely water parks! With lazy rivers, wave pools, several water rides and slides, and amazing food! Don’t forget your mini donuts! 🍩

Welcome to Hard Rock Hotel, a Loews hotel at Orlando’s Universal Resort! 🎷

When it comes to the ease of a Universal Resort, Hard Rock hotel can’t get much easier. From water taxis, shuttles, even a short walking path will take you directly into the heart of Universal Studios! It doesn’t get simpler! City Walk is practically right out your door, so if you want to go to dinner, do some last minute shopping, even get a tattoo, City Walk is the place to be! 🛍️

Other than the many events and activities City Walk has to offer, Hard Rock Hotel has plenty of those all on property! Maybe you just want to swim at the pool and listen to the sound of the music underwater (That’s right, there is music playing IN the pool!!) or you want to read a book and get served drinks right from your lounge chair. These are all available options JUST at the pool! 🤿

Hard Rock also has dining, shopping, and several other activities, as well as events. There are pool parties, song quizes, all sorts of activities for all ages! Oh, and don’t forget about the water slide! 😲

Only 19 days until Halloween Horror Nights! 😱

Universal Orlando Resort is busy preparing for the 35th annual Halloween Horror Nights event! There's so much to do and so little time, but they are whipping up everything quicker than anticipated! (At this point, I never know why I am shocked to see everything getting put out, they do such a good job and are so efficient every year!) 🫢

This year will be an incredible and ICONIC year 😉 with several unexpected guests making appearances (and reappearances!) The square zones are mostly already decorated, there are so many small Easter Eggs and throwbacks in the decorations already, methodically reused decor from Dolls, Candy, Bugs, and several other previous houses. I am excited to see the menus roll out because there will be another post regarding food and drinks (as always!) 😋

It wouldn't be HHN without the free smells! When riding on F&F (for possibly the last time ever 🫣) I could smell the classic scents of Halloween Horror Nights as they set up one of the houses in the soundstage. There is so much merch out as well, I couldn't help but snag a Sinners shirt myself. 🤫

Dining at Disney Springs is better than ever! ‼️😱

Enzo’s Hideaway is a Dining location under the Tunnel in The Landing at Disney Springs. It is a 1920’s Speak-Easy style bar / casual dining restaurant open for both lunch and dinner! It’s connected to Maria & Enzo’s Restorante as well ad Pizza Ponte just above and across on the main strip of The Landing. 🍕

The Main entrance is a giant metal door, it looks a bit intimidating but it feels awesome walking in! It’s a bit dark and looks like a wine cellar, but directly ahead there are some hosts waiting to greet you. Everything is decorated so beautifully, it is truly such a unique experience! 🏺

It’s a much smaller space than most of the dining options in Disney Springs but it feels so much more personalized. There aren’t usually a ton of people in there, mostly because it’s tucked away and hidden so well! 🤫

Disney Springs is a wonderful option for those who are looking to go somewhere and have a peaceful day enjoying live music, shopping, or have plenty of dining options without paying admission for an event or feel crammed at a mall. Disney Springs truly is an underrated time killer and there is always something new to enjoy! 🤗

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights Event is already off to a great start! Decorations are getting put up each night in preparation as we prepare for August 28th, and I, for one, couldn’t be more excited! 😁
