Let’s talk a little about quick, local vacations that you can do as a family, or relaxing retreat as a couple.

This has been a really popular request I have gotten this spring. Not everyone can take an extra 5-7 days for a long vacation in between all that summer gifts us. But 2-4 days… that can be more doable. Avoiding the price of airfare, hop in the car for 1-3 hours and it feel like you have a little escape. There are a lot of local gems that can easily be overlooked, but you know who is looking? I am! 🙋‍♀️

🌟First up, The Omni Barton Creek Resort is located about 35 minutes west of downtown Austin. A true retreat for families or couples (adult only pool please, ✅). Golfing on-site, good food and all with the backdrop of Texas Hill Country. This retreat won’t break the bank either!

🌟If you are looking for something sophisticated and new, try the Hotel Swaxen in Dallas. The name, Swaxen, comes from their vision of Swiss Hospitality with Texas Charm. Today we are our way to Arkansas for college orientation. 🐗Thank goodness for a hot spot, and an 18 year-old behind the wheel, so I have still been able to work today.
