Me: oh just minding my Black-owned business by supporting another Black-owned business on this Blackout Friday! 💪🏿

Check it out! I pass by this sign EVERY DAY after dropping my kiddos off at school/work AND OMW to work. I finally decided to stop in last week and baby let me tell y'all something. This place is the truth and so my vibe!

In case you didn't know good eating and of course good coffee is my self-care and therapy. Let's get into it with this review, shall we...

Location: The Lawn Breakfast Bar, Hidden gem located at 6652 S Langley, Chicago.

Ambiance: Cozy, bright and welcoming!!

Music - Jamming and smashing! It's a whole vibe!!!

Food: Delicious! Those men are back there in the kitchen doing the gosh darn thing!!! And they are so chill! The co-owner, Tasha, is such a delight. Love love love her smile and customer service!

The yumminess in detail(so far):
The pancakes - I ate them with my fingers and with no butter or syrup. They were just that good.

The chicken tenders - perfectly seasoned and fried. Juicy as juicy can get. 👀

The omelet - light and fluffy. Done my way with Bacon, onions, spinach, bell peppers and a little cheese. Yummilicious!

Coffee - enjoyed every sip!!

Well, I've shared with y'all my take on our 1st and 2nd stops on my very first food tour of 2025 and first SoChi food tour featuring the fabulous Flossmoor!

Did you think that was it? Nope. We ended the evening real sweet.

Let's get into our 3rd & final stop...

D's Cookie Dough Company , 2601 Flossmoor Road, Flossmoor IL 60422

Stacy laid it out so lovely for my guests. The music was right. The ambiance was so vibey. And the sweet treats!!! Omgosh, the sweet treats. Me and my guests THOROUGHLY ENJOYED an assortment of delectable sweets starring...Peanut Butter cookies, Oatmeal cookies with golden raisins & coconut, Chocolate Chip cookies, Sugar butter cookies, Hummingbird cake topped with candied pecans & a dried pineapple "flower", and Caramel cake that in the words of my guest, Rhonda was "sheer sorcery!" Even the coffee was DEEEEELICIOUS, (y'all know how I am about my coffee)! Everything was divine!
