Sundowner International Corporation is back in action this week as our entire team converges on Las Vegas to execute HannaCon 2022 for our client Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.

With 1900+ Howard Hanna attendees heading west beginning on Monday, the Sundowner team will be in place to make this an incredible week to remember for all who attend!

Sundowner completed our last “pre-pandemic” client event back in March of 2020. Since then, getting the team at Sundowner back to work has been my #1 priority.

Now, it’s 11 months later and we are ramping up for what looks to be a VERY busy late summer/early fall. This is THE best news of all!!

People are longing to be able to gather together again. You all are feeling it? Aren’t you? We all need physical contact and engagement... now more than ever. It distinguishes humans from other animals. From a warm handshake or sympathetic hug to a congratulatory pat on the back, we have developed complex languages, cultures, and emotional expression through physical contact.

The psychological benefits, as well as many other benefits goes without saying.

Numerous scientific studies now indicate these significant direct results (with positive effects/benefits) directly related to actual human contact:

Good Morning! I hope you and yours are all safe and heathy!

These are strange times we are living in right now to say the least! I started my professional life in the restaurant and nightclub industry back in the 80’s. Following that and for the past 30+ years, I have been a corporate meeting planner with Sundowner International Corporation. Our industry was hit particularly hard due to COVID-19. COVID-19 has similarly disrupted other related industries as well: hotels, restaurants, caterers, production companies, airlines…the list goes on and on…

Over the years, you’ve seen the posts…myself and my awesome team (Katie & Steph) are always jumping on a plane to some exotic (and mostly not so exotic) location to plan/execute world class meetings and events for Sundowner’s impressive roster of clients. Be it on a beach, at a hotel, convention center or on a golf course, we “gather” people for a living. Now, here we are 6+ months later and we are all asking the same question: “Is there an end in sight?” The answer? Yes, we do believe there is and so do our clients. We have a number of meetings and events on the books for next year and when this is over, Sundowner will still be here making it happen for our clients. We’ll be just as strong as we were when all this madness began!

So, you may be asking, “Brian, what is the point of this post?” Well, I am VERY glad that you asked!

For those of you who know me, I have never been one to “sit still” (just ask Natalie!) We saw this lockdown as an opportunity to bring an idea to life. An idea I’ve had for about 4 or 5 years and today we are excited to announce that Chicago Dinosaur is open for business!

Yes, that’s right friends, we bought a T-Rex. His name is “Bob”. He stands 8 feet tall and is 14 feet long. Let’s put it this way, if the T-Rex was still roaming the earth today, there is a very good chance you would think “Bob” was the real deal. He looks, roars, walks and runs like a real T-Rex, and most importantly…he is in person “COVID friendly”!

Book “Bob” for your next Party, Birthday Party, Drive-By Birthday Party, Trade Show, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Teachers! School or Educational Event, Wedding, Pep Rally, Parade, PRANK!, Festival, Grand Opening & MORE….
