That ride was spectacular. We are at the airport having a quick breakfast before we board, express checkout was super smooth and no traffic on the way here. Thanks again for all your hospitality, we had so much fun and such a bonus to enjoy this experience with friends (and Disney Pros!). Safe travels and see you soon!

✨ That’s a wrap on an incredible trip! ✨

Even though I’ve visited Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando often, there’s always something new to do, something to experience one last time, or something I didn’t realize I’d missed.

This adventure was packed with so many firsts — my first stays at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness, Coronado Springs Resort, and Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. I also saw Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the first time, and caught the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade for the first time — pure magic! ✨

One thing I hadn’t done in a long time — and had an amazing time revisiting — was breakfast at The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom with the Hundred Acre Wood gang.

And there were some bittersweet lasts too — my final rides on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (in its current form).

Trips like this remind me why I love exploring every corner of the parks — there’s always another magical memory waiting to happen. 💜🎢🏰

Today at Magic Kingdom we decided to mix things up and check out some attractions we don’t normally do — Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Prince Charming Regal Carousel, and Enchanted Tales with Belle.

Our family hasn’t done Enchanted Tales with Belle in years… and somehow I got nominated to be one of the guards in the show! 🤣 Just another one of those memories the kids will probably bring up someday — “Hey, remember that time Dad was the guard in Enchanted Tales with Belle?” 💛✨

I’m obviously biased, but I thought I did a great job!

And just like that… we’re back at Walt Disney World! ✨🏰

After an incredible run at Universal Epic Universe — 13 hours of thrills, laughs, and unforgettable moments — we’ve checked in at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for the final stretch of our summer adventure.

We kicked off our return to the magic with breakfast at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — such a fun and delicious way to start the day! 🍍🍳🥞

We’ll be here until Saturday, soaking up every last bit of pixie dust. Stay tuned for more Disney fun!

What a way to wrap up the Universal portion of our summer adventure! 🎢☀️

At one point today, we had 11 of us running around the parks – and it was an absolute blast!

We spent the day at the brand-new Universal Epic Universe, and it did not disappoint.

We were there from Early Entry at 9:00 AM and got in the queue for our final ride just before 10:00 PM — that’s 13 hours of EPIC entertainment!

Having Universal Express Pass made the day feel so relaxed — we never felt rushed, knowing we could ride our favorite attractions at any time. (Just a heads up: Epic Universe will offer only single-use Express for most attractions.)

Between Universal Express Pass and Early Park Admission, we were able to ride Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment three times! What an incredible ride — intense, detailed, and unlike anything else we’ve experienced.

The lands are stunning during the day, but they’re truly magical at night ✨ Can’t wait to come back!

📍 Early check-out from Disney’s Coronado Springs this morning so we could head over to the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort and check in!

🎸 As a Signature Resort, Hard Rock gives us complimentary Universal Express Unlimited — that means we can skip the regular lines at most rides at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure all day long! Plus, we also get Early Park Admission, just for being hotel guests. 💫🎢

Even though it was early, we were able to grab our room keys at check-in and head straight to the parks — no time wasted!

Staying at one of Universal’s Signature Hotels really makes a huge difference in how much you can do in a day. 🎟✨

✅ Yesterday I crossed another resort off my Walt Disney World bucket list — The Cabins at Fort Wilderness! We didn’t go into the parks at all and still had an amazing day enjoying everything the campgrounds have to offer — including horseback riding 🐴 and cruising around in our golf cart 🚙. Even better, my niece drove over from Titusville to spend the day with us! 💚

📍Today, we’re checking in to Coronado Springs Resort — a beautiful spot I’ve visited many times but have never actually stayed at… until now! It’s a chill day before we ramp things back up with lots of fun and friends at Universal Orlando! 🎢🌴

Did you know you can go horseback riding during your Walt Disney World vacation? 🐴✨

That’s right! Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you can saddle up for a scenic trail ride through the woods. It’s such an unexpected (and peaceful!) activity that feels like a total change of pace from the theme parks.

👉 Riders must be at least 9 years old, 48 inches tall, and weigh less than 250 lbs to participate.

Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced rider, it’s a fun way to see a different side of the magic!

✨ EPCOT Day Recap! ✨

We rope dropped the newly reimagined Test Track 🚗—we thought the updated version was really good! Ethan said he missed the design-your-own-car tool and the competitive aspect of the old version, but still had a blast.

☕🥐 Quick breakfast stop at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France—so many incredible pastries to choose from!

With a little time before our 🎟️ Lightning Lane Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we strolled through World Showcase and met some favorites:
🇬🇧 Winnie the Pooh in the U.K.
🇺🇸 An impromptu Tigger meet just past the American Pavilion
🇩🇪 And a special Annual Passholder-exclusive D***y meet & greet in Germany!

🎶 Our ride on Cosmic Rewind featured “Conga,” and Ethan said it was his favorite track yet!

After that, it was time to eat and drink around the world 🌍:
🍹 Margaritas from Mexico
🥨 Pretzel Nuggets (the kids’ fave!) from the American Pavilion
🍷 Wine from Italy
🍦 Ice cream and 🥂 Champagne from France

Then we headed back to the resort for some pool time and basketball 🏀 before dinner at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ with our neighbors (who are heading out on a cruise soon 🚢).

🌿 A much more laid-back day compared to our Hollywood Studios adventure—just goes to show you can go as hard or as easy as you want on a Walt Disney World vacation!

We made it for Early Entry and kicked things off with a rope drop ride on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance 🚀— what a start!

✅ Used our first Lightning Lane on Star Tours ⚡️, which opened the gate to book Tier 1 rides, and we were off to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ⚡️ next!

🍴 Lunch was a blast at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, then it was showtime!
🎭 Caught the brand new The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure (a fantastic update to the classic!)
😈 And Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, which was wickedly fun!

Then it was back to rides:
🎢 The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
🚂 Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ⚡️
🛸 Alien Swirling Saucers ⚡️
🎯 Toy Story Mania ⚡️
🎸 Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
❄️ Took a break with For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
🐶 Finished strong with Slinky Dog Dash ⚡️ using our final Lightning Lane!

✔️ Every ride in the park
✔️ Three fantastic shows
✔️ A delicious sit-down lunch
✔️ Left more than an hour before park close!
