🎄 SAVE THIS POST if you’re visiting Walt Disney World during the holiday season! 🎄

One of the biggest planning mistakes guests make this time of year is not realizing that Magic Kingdom closes early on select nights for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! 🎅✨

On party nights, regular day guests without a party ticket will need to leave Magic Kingdom by 6:00 PM. If you’re planning your park days around all the holiday magic, this is an important detail to keep in mind!

📅 Magic Kingdom Early Closure Dates (2026)

🎄 November
8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29

🎄 December
1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22

💡 Pro Tip: If you’re NOT attending the party, consider scheduling your Magic Kingdom day on a non-party date so you can enjoy a full day in the park!

If you ARE attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a party day can be a great opportunity to visit Magic Kingdom during the day before returning for the special after-hours event. Enjoy the festive parade, holiday fireworks, snowfall on Main Street, seasonal treats, and so much more! 🎆❄️🎁

✈️🎃 Today is arrival day for some repeat clients as they head west for an unforgettable Southern California vacation!

Their adventure begins with a stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Anaheim Resort, one of Disneyland Resort’s convenient Good Neighbor Hotels, just a short walk from the magic. They’ll be spending two full days enjoying the Disneyland Resort parks, plus a third Disney day attending the always-popular Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure! 👻🎃 With limited-capacity event tickets, they’ll enjoy exclusive entertainment, special character encounters, trick-or-treat trails, and shorter attraction wait times throughout the evening.

October 4 is World Animal Day, making it the perfect time to celebrate one of my favorite things about Walt Disney World—its incredible connection to animals and conservation. 🦁🐘🦒

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is much more than a theme park. Every day, dedicated animal care experts work to protect and care for hundreds of species, while Disney’s conservation efforts help support wildlife and habitats around the world. 🌍🐾

Some of my favorite experiences at Walt Disney World have been the opportunities to get even closer to these amazing animals. My family has experienced both the Wild Africa Trek and Up Close with Rhinos tours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and they were absolutely incredible. ✨🏴‍☠️ On this day in 1971, Peter Pan’s Flight officially opened at Magic Kingdom! 🧚‍♀️✨

While it wasn’t quite an opening day attraction—opening just two days after Magic Kingdom welcomed its first guests on October 1, 1971—it has gone on to become one of the park’s most beloved classic attractions.

There’s something magical about boarding a pirate ship and soaring high above London on your way to Never Land. Generations of guests have experienced this timeless adventure, which is one reason you’ll almost always find one of the longest wait times in the park outside its entrance!
