The Blarney Stone is located in County Cork, Ireland. It’s a limestone block that has a variety of legends and myths surrounding it, the most popular being “Gift of the Gab”. The ritual goes as follows: people lay on their back over a gap in the castle that leads to a long drop, holding onto hand rails, and kiss the Blarney Stone. Legend says that doing will give you the power of persuasion and charisma, known as the ‘Gift of the Gab’.

This month, 39 years ago, Kelly Cruises & Tours, originally known as Kelly Cruises, was announced and launched for the first time! March is our birthday month and so we’re going to give some fun facts and a brief overview of our beginnings. Our founder, Nancy Kelly, started the company at her kitchen table and we have been Oak Brook-based ever since. Kelly Cruises & Tours has some partnerships like Royal Caribbean and WGN Radio that date back to the very beginning!
