Planning a trip to Europe? ✈️ Here are 5 must-know travel tips to make your journey smoother and more enjoyable!

1. Download offline maps before you arrive. Cell service isn't always reliable, so save your maps ahead of time—and pin your hotel, train station, and must-visit spots.

2. Arrive early for trains. Europe’s train system is fantastic, but platforms are often announced just 15–20 minutes before departure. Give yourself 30–40 minutes at the station.

3. Eat on the local schedule. Many restaurants in Europe don't open for dinner until 7:00–7:30 PM, and locals often eat after 8:00 PM. Hungry earlier? Find an aperitivo bar for drinks and complimentary bites.

4. Stand for your espresso. Want to save money and experience Europe like a local? Order your coffee at the bar instead of sitting at a table.

5. Carry small euro bills and coins. They're handy for public restrooms, cafés, markets, and other small purchases.
