Woofstock 2026 is right around the corner!🐾

Saturday June 6th, 2026! Stop by the Chilhowie Town Park from 10:00am to 2:00pm for family and fur-baby friendly activities, vendors, food trucks, and more! This one-day festival is a fundraiser for Smyth Animal Rescue presented by Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County, Inc.

What to expect at Woofstock:
🐶 The annual Pet Show with new categories, as well as returning fan favorites
🎢 Free inflatables and fun for kiddos
🐾 A vaccine clinic hosted by Glade Spring Veterinary Clinic
🐕 Some four-legged friends from Smyth Animal Rescue who are ready for adoption

This Saturday, The Town of Saltville, Virginia celebrates native son Hobart Smith, a banjo legend who inspired the likes of Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger. Music lovers should plan to spend the entire day in Saltville, as the The Museum of the Middle Appalachians hosts Music Talks beginning at 12:15, and live music and food trucks start at 4:30!
