Well the water temperature is rising. We had an awesome winter fishery catching sheep’s head , black drum, trout and some reds. Now we are working on Snook,nice Reds, Sea trout and some other surprises. I have a few days left in May. Get them before it gets too hot.

The water temperature has been pretty chilly so we have been grocery shopping and filling the basket.

Ethan and Killian showed up with Dr Pepper and Doughnuts for breakfast. We needed to find fish fast! The boys caught a four person limit of trout, a few redfish and a couple snook. Good job guys! See you soon!

Another chilly morning with a lot of pressure 😉. Wendy and Ryan brought the kids down for a day of fishing. I always ask , what do we want to catch today? The kids replied puffer fish and lizard fish. What about dinner I asked? Well we would like that too. Oh boy the pressure was on. We set out , stoping at the grocery holes picking up dinner here and there, then out to seek the puffers and lizard fish. I couldn’t Believe we found them😉just another awesome day with good people.

Kevin, Brett, and Sebastian came down. This time, they brought Kennedy with them. She sure did an awesome job catching Redfish and Sea Trout for her first time out fishing!! As always, Lady Luck prevails. Great job kiddo!!

It’s always nice to see the kids out fish their Fathers with ease. The best part is seeing them year after year evolve and become better fisherman and stewards of our fisheries.

We’ve been having some good days fishing. Early morning starts are a plus with the summer time heat. I’m really looking forward to the Fall bite, I’m expecting good things. If you want to fish a couple days, check out Chokoloskee Island Resort, Chris the manager and his crew are awesome and will take care of you. As always keep your tip up and reel! And don’t touch the drag 😂
